Synopsis

Hadith plays a central role in shaping how we understand Islam.

Yet, many Muslims don’t really know how Hadith were collected, what makes a Hadith authentic, or why some are labelled weak or fabricated.

We quote Hadith in conversations. We forward Hadith on WhatsApp.

But do we know what we’re sharing is sound?

In an age of misinformation, blindly trusting every Hadith we read online is risky. It can lead to misunderstandings of Islam, spreading false claims, and worse—practicing the religion wrongly.

And for those trying to seek the truth, the science of Hadith often feels intimidating—too technical, too complicated, or “only for scholars.”

But here’s the thing: this knowledge is fardh ‘ain.

Every Muslim needs at least a basic understanding of how our religion has been preserved.
